For Medical Endoscopy

Learn RDFixer's details, what is under the hood.

RDFixer - General Overview

The radial distortion is an optical aberration caused by the reduced size of the lenses. This aberration hinders the navigation process inside the anatomical cavities by affecting the depth perception and changing the morphology of the anatomic landmarks.

RDFixer intercepts the video feed from any endoscopic equipment, and outputs the corrected image signal to the display. Our system is able to process full HD video in real-time, while running in a conventional hardware platform (such as a regular PC) . Since it is software solution, our system can be used with any type of endoscopic equipment/lenses, independently of the manufacturer or the medical specialty.
